WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR?
As I reflect on the year, I realize I have so much to be thankful for. Even amidst the chaos, 2020 was a big year for the Robison household. Step by step we are slowly checking off our goals. Goals like house renovations, improvement on our place, new purchases to help us keep moving forward, and starting a new business. The start of our direct to consumer beef business was a huge step for Dry Creek Ranch. It’s something I am so proud to be apart of! Max and I have worked so hard to make this dream a reality.
The global pandemic is a tragedy that has hit our world. However; we’ve taken something negative and turned it into a positive. We used the extra time at home to put effort into starting our business. Plus we are thankful for the opportunity to spend a little more time at home, together as a family.
2020 has been a hard year for so many, but I feel blessed to have been able to continue to do what I love. Ranching is hard. Ranching in 2020 is harder, but life must go on, and I am thankful for that.
My favorite time of year is upon us: the holiday season. This means family, food, feeding cows, and appreciating all that we have. With that, I believe we all need to reflect on the blessings God has given us.
Think in your head of 5 things you’re thankful for. Every day this week, remind yourself of those 5 things! I believe there are so many negative thoughts circulating in the world today. Hopefully thinking of those 5 things will help change your perspective into a more positive mindset!
Here are my 5 things I’m thankful for:
My family
My health
A warm home to go to sleep in every night
Dry Creek Ranch- our calves looked great this fall and the beef business is going great!
Technology so we can connect with those we love who are far away
What are you thankful for??
